what's the buzz?

i was fortunate to get these wonderful close-up shots

of a cute fuzzy bee back in july 2009.

april showers bring may flowers

one of my co-workers created these beautiful floral bouquets. 

she definitely has a good eye for color and a talent for arranging flowers.

i love how each arrangement is accented with a colorful insect
(not visible in the top photos) -- it certainly adds a touch of whimsy!
