april showers bring may flowers

one of my co-workers created these beautiful floral bouquets. 

she definitely has a good eye for color and a talent for arranging flowers.

i love how each arrangement is accented with a colorful insect
(not visible in the top photos) -- it certainly adds a touch of whimsy!

how i loved wearing these as a kid.

in addition to the ones pictured above, i remember owning a

 harmonica, whistle, baby bottle,

 saxophone, cola bottle,

mini notepad,

and toilet.

(of course when you're six years old,

a toilet charm is the funniest thing in the world.)
